Hi, I’m Anna Du—an ENFP illustrator born in Canada and raised in China, shaped by two cultures and a lifelong love for dreams, rain, and quiet imagination. I create illustrations that blend narrative warmth with gentle whimsy, drawing inspiration from everyday moments, inner emotions, and small adventures that live just under the surface of reality.
My dream audience includes children who enjoy colourful, imaginative worlds and adults who seek a soft, comforting escape filled with curiosity and wonder. I aim to make work that feels both playful and reflective—art that welcomes viewers into stories that unfold slowly and tenderly.
I enjoy working across both traditional and digital media, often leaning into tactile materials, handmade textures, and craft-based exploration. Beyond illustration, I love trying new things—whether it’s sculpting, mixed-media building, or creating small objects by hand. These experiments often influence my illustrations and help me explore new ways of storytelling.
At the heart of my practice is a desire to explore, to experiment, and to connect. Through my work, I hope to create spaces—big or small—where people can pause, imagine, and rediscover a sense of wonder.
